hey everyone....i was juggling between rebuilding my EL motor or getting an AU motor. Was thinking of getting an AU motor and then rebuild that while driving the EL around until i finished getting the AU motor rebuilt so i looked up at fowels and found this....im still pondering on what to do though =(

you will need an aftermarket ECU to control the VCT so ure lookin at big $$$.

buy a cheap AU engine and chuck that in for a while, and rebuild and turbo the EL engine...

wow fair effort o_O
well im sure there will be a lot of work involved...and if u need an aftermarket ECU for a VCT i might as well get a non VCT AU2 engine or something. ill try and source out a cheap AU2 engine....so i can do a complete rebuild.
