ive had a look around and cant find any 1/4 times for a HSV LE GTO MONARO, they are a 6Litre LS2 and 100 of them built, they came out with 297KW... the car is totally stock, no exhaust or anything done to it...

Auto or manual, as an auto he will do you by about 1/2 a sec, as a manual closer to a sec.

Bloke must have been a nuff nuff to only get a 14.3 out of it. You sure it was LS2?
A mate of a mates auto L76 VE Berlina (270kw) did better then that, went 13.7-13.8 on a stinking hot night.

If you're within 0.5 of a second I would claim the moral victory on the night!!!

Hell, if you're within a second I'd still claim moral victory. Just what is one of those two door $50,000 6 litres doing going up against a straight 6 from the mid 1990's?

That's like the Aussie Rugby League team thinking they're cool for beating a bunch of lazy a*** NZ'ers who can't even afford a decent piss up after the game.

Actually, come to think of it - That's not such a good example.

Just get a better reaction time, get ya tyres stuck quicker, don't miss any gears and send him home complaining about conspiracies, cheating referee's and biased competition.

Good luck to ya, smart money may not be on ya, but the lucky money may.

Well now... Now you mention it... NZ just isn't as slow and can't seem to equate playing a game for 5 days to anything logical. Sure, over there where it is 40 bloody stinking degrees out in the middle. Sure, in England where they do everything stinking slow... But NZ, being full of attention deficit disorder Irish and Scots cast aways... A game of anything that lasts longer than 4 or maybe 5 hours at a stretch is beyond comprehension.

I *follow* sport and even I don't give a single excretion as to the ability (or lack thereof) of someone to concentrate on batting, bowling or even so much as standing for five days. Just how many millions do they pay those poor umpires anyway? Poor poor chaps. Must be terribly bored or handed some wickedly strong valium each break.

All good Mister Fast x R. Go kick his butt and prove NZ can win in a test match... Hate to bring up underarm bowling - but could you hide a small NOS kit somewhere with no one noticing?
