No, that's cool, I believe that you think you witnessed that........

By the way, who's your dealer? I want a kilo of whatever you were on at the time........must be some good gear!

ever thought the driver could have somthing to do with it?

No person, no matter how good a driver, is going to make a slow car faster than it is.............I don't care who they are!

As I already said, unless there is something wrong with the EB V8 (or the V8 driver was driving normally and the 'drag race' was imagined) there is no chance of it getting beaten by a stock V6 Telstar!

The EB V8 was auto.
I can easily see it getting flogged by a lighter, and better geared, Telstar.

I used to own one, they are a great car, but as slow as a wet week! The gearing is all over the shop.........certainly not 'better'.

The V8 is a far superior car performance wise!

Just so we are straight here, we're talking about an auto EB V8 being beat by an auto 2.5 litre V6 Telstar???

im not gonna bother trying to convince this narrow-minded loser that dads telstar beat it.

downingj - it was a v8 eb fairmont, and i've driven one before, and off the mark they're weak as piss in stock trim.

Having a different point of view to the one you hold does not make me narrow minded, nor a loser. Indeed you need to have a good look at yourself before posting s#@t like that on here!

I disagree, you disagree.............doesn't make either one of us losers.

Your argument of essentially "just because......I was there" is noted. My argument of "uh-ugh.....don't think so!" stands.

Move on!

Missed the point much? I think you need to take a look at yourself because of the way you react to people who disagree with you. Referring to them as 'Narrow minded loser....." or the like shows a lack of an open mind yourself. But then you are still young I 'spose and will mature with time and experience.

WTF? You are on drugs, aren't you??
