last time i took my car down the strip the back end got dangerlously wobbly at the top end of the track. bad enough that i backed off. this is what the tyres looked like when i took em off. the wear holes are full of like a white wax-like substance. the black s**t on the the lh tyre tread is pretty hard but does scrape off with fingernails. at first i confronted a track marshall telling him there was s**t on the track and he shrugged his shoulders at me.

anyone ever seen it before and/or know what it is?

cheers,
Norm :)

just looks like excess rubber build up. we get it pritty bad when its cold or 'super sticky' tyres as we call them are on a hot track with karts.
