hey guys.. im from melbourne n there r so many people that run xr6turbos stock at the drags 1/4 mile.. but for some stupid reason i aint seen anyone run a stock one n beat a 15 second pass.. now to me thats s**t!!! but i wanna know who has ran a stoxk xr6t n whatthey ran.. cause if i ran my car.. n got no where near a 14 second mark even missing a gear i would cry.. my old el (also known as marks el) ran a 14.5 when i missed 3rd gear.. so this xr6t should run that easy.. but back to the car.. just want to know what people have ran.. thanks

Stock BA mk1 manual ran a 13.9 up here at WSID on wed night.

The better mk1's are 14.0 give or take a couple of tenths.

I haven't seen one run more than 15's at the drags before...

Yeah I've heard of them running 16s lol. They can run anywhere up to a 13.9, but if they're slower than a 14.5 there's something wrong with it, underboosting or soemthing.

some people can't drive.
i've seen a GT-P run a 17 no s**t.
I ran my bro's first time i'd ever driven a ba and ran a 14.8, and he could only manage 2x mid 15's.
i reckon his was good for a mid 14.

Hahaha yeah.
The series ones don't have traction control though, so that's a minor problem, and I think I read somewhere they normally run quicker times when you don't manual shift them?
It's all about getting off the line right and changing smoothly.

BA Mk1 XR6T's do have traction control, at least the Autos do, never driven a manual one.

only the utes dont have traction control...
I've heard it said that adecent launch without traction control is actually quicker too, oweing to the tractioning control cutting in a little too early and limiting power

That's the 6 speed auto ones though. Massive difference between that and 4 speed.
