hey guys im new to this website. I have a question in regards to my next vehicle. I,ve been looking at an "1989 brock falcon" it has plates in the engine bay correct interior ect. now to my question how can i tell for sure its genuine and how much should i be paying?
any comments would be appreciated. 8-)

First port of call is Ford themselves. Contact them with VIN and Engine no's. Also may be worth getting the paint and interior codes and making sure that is still original too.

By the way,it's good to see that you are still interested in a Ford despite the fact that a knob like Brock got his hands on it! :lol:

cheers sounds like a good start. The car ive been looking ats pretty neat and i like the fact its unique.I plan to put a full dev 5a kit through it as i currently have a ba xr6 and it has a dev 3 with high stall and it gos really well.

I bet all those people who decided to hold onto or buy a Brock EA are now much happy they have one.. rather than selling it off for cheap, now they own a car thats value will hold and will be an iconised car in motoring.. albeit due to a tragic death of a motorpsort legend.

OFF topic but i saw a guy with a Brock VL in the paper trying to flog it off for $65,000! cos it was signed by him and it was model 005 ..

Guys, want to know a bit more about Brock Fords then go to www.geocities.com/brock_fords and you'll find heaps there, I should know coz I run the website! These cars though only the 3.9l 6 cylinder are a credit to Brocky and his team. They are very stable and have plenty of power for a bit of fun. cheers Terry
