Looking to upgrade from the EF to a BA maybe in the future and just wondering will it be worth the upgrade performance wise?
For starters it has to be a manual...... is their such thing as a factory manual BA which is NOT a tickford? Dont want no bodykit, bling wheels or s**t like that, just a standad factory BA manual.... how much they worth? Secondly would a shorter diff, upgraded exhaust and flash tune make it run at least mid 14's? I assume the BA 6 doesnt have an affordable cam upgrade like the eseries, what else can be done apart from headwork? Cheers!!!!! |

Lots of BA are into the 14's.
with just Full Exhaust, intake and Edits... Here is a guide to NA BA http://www.bseries.com.au/cgi-bin/index.cgi?act=page&f=workshop/bseries_na_mod_guide KPM motorsport do cams for ba's - http://www.kpmauto.com/FordPerformance/BABFXR6406cyls/CamPackages/tabid/168/Default.aspx Not cheap though probably better of buying a BA turbo http://cgi.ebay.com.au/2003-Ford-Falcon-BA-XR6-Turbo_W0QQitemZ130153256049QQihZ003QQcategoryZ102226QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem |

Biggest one of all, there is no such thing as a tickford BA.
There are plenty of manuals out there in the BA's. and like already said, an edit, exhaust, CAI and maybe throttle body and you'll be doin pretty good for a NA.

good luck finding them! I spent a year looking for one, -that wasn't an XR, got donuts, so I bought a futura. Stupid me upgraded the front & rear anyway (altho I'm still $5500 under what a XR would've cost me), All I need to do now is change to manual... FTG want $2500, I can't afford that for a while
(anyone knows of it cheaper, PM please)

how heavy are sedans? cause i know when we weighed a stock xr6 ute it was like 1670-1680kg...not exactly light
