Searched and can't find it. Am wondering who's got the fastest unopened au six with a factory driveline? i.e. 4sp auto or 5sp manual with up to 3.45 LSD with the standard tune and in full street trim, spare tyre, jack and the lot.

Bolt ons like exhaust, extractors and intake don't count. what ya mean dont count? also do u mean NA or forced fed with what your topic title suggests is that they do.. as usually unopened ppl take to be anything with or do u mane FACTORY with no mods what soever?

i reckon thread be more interesting if "stock" only meant stock motor,cam,head,full interior, ECU etc. but things like short diff, exhaust, intake, slicks were allowed.
most people who have gotten in the mid 14's have done it with hotter cams, tune..... but i know "stockstandard" ran a 14.6 in his EF with just exhaust, T5 and 3.45 LSD http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cv5KRBAFcRA |

Now I have manual I might hit up the drags....the extra weight from IRS will probably a*** rape me though
I think unopened should mean the actual engine itself untouched. Exhaust, intake, tune, driveline should be allowed. As long as the rocker cover doesn't come off

I wish mine was still an xr motor not a forte one. The bigger ports might have made a difference.

IIRC on the AU's the ports are the same between xr and forte (with the bigger exhaust ports).

Valves are the same intake/exhaust ports are bigger

whats the exact difference? how do they use the same sized valves but have different port sizes? interested now
