xr8girl, that is a great ET and MPH especially considering the mods. That was some real good weather too.

There is a little room for improvement in your 60' time, so no doubt there is the potential for a 13.9 in similar weather. What tyres where you using?

I am running almost identical 60' and mph in my AU1 XR8 Ute auto, but my best ET is just over a tenth off yours...14.153.

14.1 from 185kw? What mods you got.

I'm seriously thinking about switching to 5 litres here guys. The time that are being posted with unopened engines is unbelieveable...

Tyres are Nankang's - just my everyday street tyres...Would there be improvement in my 60' time if I warmed the tyres up 1st,or is that just done for better traction,i.e: BA's ?...I've never done a burnout in a manual :( ..my hubby won't teach me , so if any-one wants to explain it verbally to me, go for it :D and I promise I'll practice and practice and practice :D

I'd be tempted to play around with tyre pressures... did you let any air out of the rear tyres at the strip?

Some driver...

I think my old T2 ran a 14.5 or 14.6 stock with 3/4 tank AND the spare in the boot. Oh, and my wife was driving...
And the whole club was at Kwinana with us...

Remember the shifter is between the seats, not the legs, and you might be going quick instead of coming.

Good onya mate. You've earnt my respect, thats for sure.

Driving to the strip, running it down the strip, then pissing off home is the only way to go. None of this namby pamby let your tyres down, or remove the spare and jack etc etc.

Totally representative of what your car can do.

Well done

I think Mr t2te50 needs to sell his car to someone who deserves it because he obviosly doesn't with an attitude like that.
