hey recently went to calder could not get of the line hard without axle hop
what causes this man , 3.45 min spool , loww and stiff, 18 by 235/40 any info would be great the car should of done a low 13 or high 12 best i could do 13.6 @110 mph |

big grippy tyres. try running with some 15" wheels and work out your launches

Upper and lower control arms and watts linkage bushes will usually be found to be the culprit. try control arm bushes first though. Axle tramp is a bit of a common thing with these cars too.
Also Hard is not always the best setup. If its too hard nothing can load up and suspension cannot travel to the limits it needs to. Thus bouncing the back wheels.

what dc todd said but also better shocks.
low/stiff springs with shocks that cant control them will cause it.

yeh sounds right got koni ajustables in rear, think there up to the job, but the super low stiff srings have gotta go
all rear bushes nolathane think i will try 16 inch slik with new xr6 spec srings all round |

yeah raising will most likely fix it, the other thing that causes it in the sedans is the instant centres.
if it's a bit messy (which all lowered ones are), for a given amount of travel the diff will rotate around the axle line more then it should. depending what model it is there is some options with the upper arm and upper arm mounting point to correct it.
