I thought I'd post this video seeing as a few people have been asking for it.
It's mainly incar footage of myself and others having fun and hooning around at eastern creek :D

The performance of the car wasn't that great on the day - it was a bit hot and bothered from all the spirited driving (only made 200rwhp as per the dyno clip) and most of the time I had a 100kg mate on board so he was slowing me down a bit

Anyway enough excuses :P

Around 8 minutes and 40meg

haha yeah plenty of idiots put their cars into walls and as per the video a few were driving a bit too stupid near other cars. One guy nearly took me out (not on tape) which I didn't appreciate...

It's awesome fun though and I'll be heading back out again next time it's on :D

Anyone know if the 2 EF/EL XRs are members here ? The red (XR8?) had the plates ROB???, not sure about the green one.

The earlier you get in the cheaper in is. If you pay a few weeks before it's $250. If you get in more than a month ahead it's $170 and if you pay 3 months in advance it's only $110, which cheaper than the minimum a cop will book you for misbehaving on the road! 8-)
That's for 3 days admission (fri, sat and sun) so it's pretty good value. It does get a bit packed at times though and things get a bit bunched up on the track.

Don't forget to factor in petrol and tyres into the cost too!
I went through about 15-20l/day in petrol + 50% tread on a cheap set of tyres, and that wasn't even entering the official burnouts

Check out the website, it has all the info

hehe I don't really have much more video - just more of the same really. I thought it'd get a bit boring watching the same thing over and over. That's the majority of it that isn't just me driving around and starting and stopping in traffic. There's a DVD being made of the whole event, it should be out soon.

If you want pics look in the power cruise website and also badger photography and cackling pipes. They have heaps of photos from the day

Here's a random example of one of the more tasteful bodykits that were floating around on teh day

I don't think so, probably just the lighting or mis-aligned panels.
