hi, in sa we havent had a usuable racetrack (drag) for quite a few years.
i used to run 100hp-175hp nitrous on my xr back then.
i still have a full nos bottle and was wondering if it will still do anything after 10 years.
anyone had experience with old gas?

Isn't it a requirement to place a use by date on the bottle like LPG etc? I am just searching google and can't find nothing important

Doesn't matter what grade or type of gas it is, it will asphyxiate you all the same if you breath it continuously for a few minutes and it replaces the life-giving oxygen (O2) in your lungs with NOS, CO, CO2, LPG etc and so your blood runs out of oxygen for life to continue:(
Some gases like Hydrogen cyanide deprive the blood of oxygen by blocking the oxygen receptors on the red blood cells, causing irriversable death. Never mix acid with cyanide was the first thing I learnt when I became an electroplater.

I wouldnt try and huff it, automotive nitrous oxide contains up to 100ppm of sulphur dioxide, take it from me if you try youll be gagging and coughing your guts up.
