Most def had some speical fried kind of rice under the hood,....

I could understand it being a tad quicker off the line as it would be lighter manual so forth but as soon as you hit 2nd u'd eat it (assuming its stock), and over 100kms?....you'd beat it top end if it were stock for sure..

^ Im under 50posts and that ain't stupid newbie sh!t..

possibly a stealth sleepr lancer with a turbo installed... an evo is much faster than 15's.. a stock lancer with no mods would not hold a candle to a ba falcon over 100km/h... unless worked ofcourse..

if anything, the lancer might get a jump on you but you'll leave it for dead at higher speeds (20km/h+) . That car must have been modded and forced, or have been an evo.

I think a lil more then 20km/h. I was in my dads manual fiesta and i had my mate in his AU I6 to 70 Km/h when i backed off.

a newer top end hilux than my previous au xr6 manual extractor, zorst kept right up with me from 80 right to 180 once. we both had to back off cause 2 lanes became 1.but it wasnt from a standing start like the lancer and he floored it first.
has ne 1 raced a vx or vz 6 in their ba 6 on the strip? ive found the ba quiker off the mark but never got to try top end ,

Yeah i race heaps of cars and put my foot flat to the floor till im doing ridiculous top speeds just to see if i can beat a fukin stock lancer & hilux.

Who cares about killing myself or others coming the other way, i just want to risk everyones life so i can see if im in front at 180kp/h and be able to brag that i beat a stock lancer or bombadore with my stock BA

Fair enough, just thought i'd rant on about s**t, cause it looks like its a frequent occurance for you and 180kp/h races with cars that pretty much arent built to handle very well at those speeds.

Hope your car is in xcellent shape cause if somethings gonna give, its gona be at those speeds.....

I remember once in an old XD my mate was doing 180kph for a few minutes just to be an idiot, and the next day the front tyre blew at 70kph.

Lucky that it blew at a relatively low speed as opposed to the day before. Plus the tyre was in perfect condition as far as we knew.... you just cant account for those things.

Take it easy......cheers!!!

this is a stupid thread.
stock lancer 0-100km/h round 9.5-10s
0-400m would be 17ish

where as even a taxi ba should do 0-100 in 8sec and 0-400m in 16secs.
in conclusion either
1)yourve just made up a big lie for some stupid reason
or
2)it was modded up made to look like a sleeper
or
3)your car is f#*kd and you cant drive
ill leave it for you to decide which option to belive

Just to note - the 2.4 Lancer has 115kw, not 89 as mentioned before
