9 seconds is POOR? Why, could you run a faster pass on a pogostick or something?

The power needed for every second reduced in ET grows at a geometric rate.
Our engine is vertually stock. Other than being bored out .030" (hence 468cid) all it has is a mild cam and a balanced bottom end. The heads are stock factory items with no porting or polishing work done. It makes an estimated 450hp at the crank. I share the car with my mate and our combined point scores put us in the lead of the WA state title. At least until this saturday, when the last event of the season is held.

7. 14.7@96mph That's pretty impressive with that diff an auto and only minimal other mods in a heavy a** BA! Any other mods ? Did you pull those times consistently ? Anyone else with BA's doing similar times ? I would have thought low 15s were more likely... Fordfreak, hows the new engine going ? Do you think there's more in it ? I assume you haven't got the uni chip tuned yet ? My times (which again people are probably sick of hearing ) 1. EF Futura, 5 speed manual, 3.45 LSD, It's performance stage 4 I6 NA 2. Weight ? I dunno, what ever an EF weighs - prolly abotu 1550 + my 70kg 3. ranges from 150-175rwkw depending on the dyno and how the stock ECU is feeling that day! 4. Prolly about 8/10 but neither the clutch nor tyres allow high rev clutch slipping launches... 5. WSID - 20 degree air temp 6. 3.45 LSD and s**t 185 width burnout stockies! 7. 14.4 @ 91 mph 8. 60 foot - 2.1 I'll be trying for a 14 flat with better tyres and more agressive launch when I head back shortly

The group of sponsors where trade people that use my mechanical services and some of the sponsors where Ante's doing. they all sponsored him well over 7 years. That is animal. You must have rocks in your head piloting that at 115mph!!! lol Mylo - what a silly thing to say. Let's see your efforts at producing a 9 second drag car.

MAN! you aint listening, YES its fast, but for its category, its POOR!
Prostock 500ci cars are running in the 6's in the states now (no metho), but this methoed drag car is hiting 9's? Kingswoods with 350's are hitting 9's man with race juice!

US Pro stock cars run 800+ cube mountain motors, naturally aspirated. 815-820 cubes are most common. Please note: Quote: Our engine is virtually stock. People we race against can't believe the times we run with a motor that has had so little done to it.
