Im wrapped with it, i dont see the car getting any faster unless something changes, car ran with spare tyre, me (around 150kg)stereo and every thing standard under the rocker covers. Over the moon. Only way she'll go faster is driver weight reduction.

Great work Jas! You'll need to update the sig! I wanna go down tomorrow, but the car's telling me no. WOT still seems to be ok, so maybe I'll take her anyways. It might blow some cobwebs out.

This may be ever so slightly off topic, but in 1985 a guy called Sammy Miller ripped a <4sec 1/4 mile in a car that had something like 25000hp.
I think he may actually hold the current 1/4 mile record.. I reckon you could probably get internal bleeding with that kind of force on your body...

had my first run down the qtr mile on saturday, loved every second of it!
it was at calder park - street meet with the "new concrete launch pad" it was a warm day around 25+ i was in my "97 fairlane 5l n/a auto 3.45 lsd, weight of car?, me- around 100kg engine hp? it's a std motor (e7's ho manifold) with 278,xxx klm's on it , ss cia, k&n filter, te50 maf, custom intake tube, underdrive pulley's, pacie header's into dual 3" hiflo magna flow metal cat's into a custom 3" exhaust with a hooker aero chamber muffler & resi. i had on the draglite's front 15x6 "195's" & back 15x8 "265's" sumitomo tyre's. only got in 3 pass's (due to chin wagging & oil down) they were back to back with the very first being the best time & reaction time's better each run! all the run's had wheel spin off the line, slippery start pad (not hp ) i'm more of a cruiser guy & was the first time the 'lane had seen over 120kpm & first true burnout it's done in the 18 month's i've had it had no idea what it would run... but are happy with how it went! i've now the base time to gauge the future mod's against. about this time last year i ran an 18.2 in my XF Fairmont. 350,000+ kms, auto, and running on LPG the whole day

I took my eb ghia v8 down the plex and ran a 15.29 with a more stall and a 15.34 with the stock convertor.
Its done more than 300000 and has 1.72 non adj, extractors,el thermos, 2.5 zorst and a cai. It made 159 hp at the tyres before any mods. I weigh 120kg Pretty sure the eb ran a 15.7-15.8 stock, my other eb ghia v8 ran 15.7 and it was stock down to the paper filter. All my times have been run with a 2.3-2.5 60 footer so i could definitely do with a set of diff gears
