thats not a bad time at all, next time dump most of the fuel, you'd be surprised what the difference it can make.

LOL , better not the last three runs i noticed a problem

third last run ,the first time it happened , i thought i over revved it and rev-limiter come on lost power but not the case

the second last run i was watching the tacho lost power also

and the last run again didnt over rev it lost power it seems it doesnt like half tank of fuel seemed to have a fuel problem issue on hard acceleration and i back of and just coasted it it was fine

so i just guessing it doesn't like half a tank of fuel , fuel pickup not picking up fuel possible cause the fuel is being forced to the back of the tank just a thought ( fuel stavation )

otherwise drives fine when 3/4 tank fuel . will confirm next drag meet will have a altronics air/fuel ratio meter onboard and monitor the problem.

cheers

mine's slower if you run the fuel down.. she wants at least two thirds of a tank otherwise it drops a couple of tenths of a second.. no idea why, just something I've noticed consistently happening.

Curious :?
Do you think it's the extra weight in the bum giving you more traction off the line ?

i'd be playing around with the fuel tank pick-up line/s if mine were doing that.
you gain a fair amount with a low tank.

Doubtful.. it's an auto with the stock Falcon diff ratio (100km/h out of fist and high 60 foot times yay!) and sticky 17" 235's, even stalling it up it only chirps off the line. There's no way in hell it's making enough power to be suffering fuel starvation either, but I don't really see what it could be.

I still don't know how you can launch that hard and get those 60 foot times, on 18's and a 3.45 diff.
