just want 2 know if any1 out here has race seats that they run on the road and if its all legal and if so how?

Legal depends on a couple of things.

Seats need to be ADR compliant. Some are & some are not.
Need to be on either factory seat rails or engineer approved modified rails & engineer report/mod plate

I have been considering a set for my mighty boy as the current seats are stuffed, but it's so much work to fit any other seats to the rails, that I'm considering stripping them down to the frames & welding in some metal to support new foam & padding them up like the EB/ED recaro's, then getting them retrimmed. Depending on what I get them trimmed in, will cost about the same as fitting something else.

yer i got a velo seat that came out of my dads track car coz he put on the kgs and its 2 small 4 him now but they take side mount brackets not rails so prob cant use it then and dont think it is ada compliant but it is FIA compliant

If it's not ADR compliant you won't be able to use it.

well its off 2 race and rally i go 2 day! see wats seats the boys have that will look good ina ford!
