You'll hit the speed limiter (~180km/h) in 3rd, so you won't need 4th.

comes down to the skill of the driver. if he's raced a bit and can launch well than he'd probly chop you.

the fact that your on here asking whether to remove your foot when changing gears on an auto means that he'll probly beat u

anyway just give it a shot and if he wins then just say your tranny fuked up or something

You'll be playing catch up off the line... but wont be long before you'll pass him.
I had an EA 3 speed (such a dog off the line) and i played catch up with a VT calias and passed him at about 100... so against the VL in the ED. No worries mate. Just plant it and go until you pass him... once you do, slow back down! No license is a b**ch :P :P

Oh it'll be done at a proper track not in public.

Say we drag up to 100 is that legal in a 100+ zone?

Or are the other laws that could have ya?

Also how do I launch?

I stall it up to 1500rpm and then take my foot on the brake but my mate at work was telling me have it so the car's pushing itself forward or something.

Haha, its funny, but its all relative really, a brand new commodore is a lower middle-class persons Rolls Royce, to his son, their new 15 year old EA as their first car is the ducks guts; and it is cos they dont know any better.
I put a pod on my 92 Magna when i was 18 :P
It was so funny, this totally s**t car with a pod, the air induction noise sounded rediculous and it went through 30Litres in 100Km's because the IAT sensor in the magna's cant measure circular flowing air.
-Wow i totally just drifted off-
Even Pryoary's car is s**t, compared to a TT 911 to a multi millionaire, but to all of us its totally awesome.
Matt
