yeah i saw him there was speaking to him. His wheels nearly lifted off the ground when he hit the 125hp shot of nos off the line. Thats pretty annoying with my guard, you cant tell in the daylight the color difference haha

sorry for not updating guys.. you were pretty well on the money there 15.77@ 88mph also ran 89mph a couple of times but couldnt beat the .77 my 2nd last run it did a 2.36 60ft (15.77 was a 2.42) then i missed 3rd gear :/ oh well now on the look out for 3.45 lsd get those times down more.

btw the way im launching is stall to 2000 and dump the clutch only way i could get it consistent

EDIT: last night went back out and got a 15.478 @ 89.7mph with a (i didnt believe this) 2.27 60ft (also did a 2.24) launching at 2500rpm and dumping it. seems 2500 is the sweet spot 3000rpm was tyre smoke, yet 2500rpm just got a little chirp then gripped.

Nick

What diff ratio have you got?
As a T5 with 3.45 gears is basically the same gearing as an Auto with 4.11's

Get it back on the Dyno as T5 also produces higher numbers as the loss in drive train is less than the loss in drive train with an Auto

it has 3.9 diff in it, it feels snappy in every gear now. Yeah it will be back on the dyno soon, its getting more stuff done to it which should be fun.

you would need something like 4.55 diff gears to have a similar first gear to a T5 + 3.45's

Have you raced the car since changing it to Manual?

Next Drag Events

17/09/2011 Calder Park
18/09/2011 Heathcote

My car wont be ready by then - I thought Scott (Brockyb8) was going to the next Calder meet?

I have no K Frame or Sump lol
