as the title says im after some info on rules for what can and cant be done to a car to run at wsid, now while i dont own a car decent enough to run there, id like to start building somthing when i finally pick up a job with more hours or higher pay rate, and i have a few ideas in mind id like to share with people,

i found this and had a skim over it but couldnt find what i was looking for, the main(and probably only place) id run is wsid in sydney.

now lets get to what id like to do with a car.

#1 thing would have to be taking the glass out of the side windows and covering the holes with perspex for weight reduction.. can it be done?

#2 thing is im quite sure ive seen the insides cut out of the doors/boot/bonnet(on a forum) where ever it can be done and the doors will still shut, can this be done legally for racing? this one seems dodgy because its a structure of the car. also wondering how fast you have to go before needing a role cage or a parachute? and a drive shaft thing for incase it breaks and trys to fall onto the ground?

thats all i can really think of for now, but mainly my plan would be to buy a falcon hopefully interior already stipped but an auto that runs, (EA-EL) and just work my way up from there.

if only i could afford this! could sell the sway bars off it and what ever else i didnt need and fit some standard ones, and it already has a cage
