It still spins me out that there is a shedload of mid 14 second cars being driven around by unsuspecting xr6 owners
 lookout at the lights  Made me look at the xr6 totally different

why? they have the same motor gearbox combos as the xt's. if anything they should be slower with the body kits and lether & sound

I havent heard of anyone running a stock fg xt down the strip so i cant possibly compare the two, although it would be fun to hire a fg xt and take it to the drags

If anything the xt would be quicker as it's probably lighter and has softer rear springs that would make it launch better...

Shannon, Wednesday is latenight trading at the dealers... Should pop into Ford in Rocko (5 mins from the Motorplex) and see if you can take an XT for a couple hours test drive. Just have to work out a good story as to why you'd need it so long...

Didnt they used to park them outside of pyramids? Who thinks that a 6 speed vs a 5 speed auto is worth a second over a 1/4 mile. Yes the 6 speed is quicker but by about a second...... nah. |
