what short shifter are you using? How much & where from?

I'm using the patented Hyena Shortshift-R. It's custom, and you need 1337 hacksaw skills to make one :P

I was looking at the short shifters but after feeling DC Todds (can't remember what make/model it was but it was a few hundred) at the last dyno day it was no quicker than my cut down one so I didn't bother.

And yeah, I'm not selling the car until I have the funds to start over again with a modded XR6T :)

Enemy of the I6 is heat, and it's victims are headgaskets
On topic, I beat a 318i once...
but generally, I'm the opposite of Hyena.

i drove an LS1 with a rip shifter. it was heaven, for a commo that is.
and hyena, the only wrx you're scaring is a bugeye, and even that should take care of you unless they can't drive. nice looking car though.

Yeah I've put a length on a bugeye and my sisters boyfriends one ("classic" shape, not sure which model) was sitting around my back door, but as vin disel says, winning is winning :P

The >* thing was a joke though if anyone though I was being serious :)

I handed a guy driving a mid 90's BMW 330 his a*** when heading to the drags a couple of weeks ago. He had a good squirt off the line but the 5ltr just didnt stop pulling, so by 3rd he was a carlength behind and falling. Most 4's and 6's arnt much of a threat, even gave a late model supra a fair amount of curry a while back, but I think that he would have had me if he didnt run out of road

VN Commodore V6 5 speed Vs ED XR6 Auto L

sorry guys I owned the VN at the time and beat the XR6, have the speeding fine to prove it too...

must admit tho that was a pretty quick car in it own kinda freakish way, did like beating the VN driving 18 yo P platers in their autos, like taking candy from a baby hehehe

dont worry I have seen the light and like my Fords now
