Early October from memory at King Edward Park,but check the Hillclimb NSW website.Join your local car club and get into it with them you will have heaps of fun.

The MG Club in Newcastle have their own track/hillclimb just 10 or so k's north of Raymond Terrace on the Pacific Highway. Maybe contact them and see when the next meetings on.
