size?
price range?

C'mon man, you have been round long enough to ask the right questions.

I am assuming 235/50/16? to suit FTR's?

A few tyres that suit the falcon without be too soft and pulling the shoulders off..

Toyo R888's getting up there in price though,
Kumho KU36's 1/2 the price of the R888's but again, an awesome tyre.
Or if you wanted something perhaps not as aggressive but still very suitable to track

Toyo R1R's Similar in price to the KU36's I would go the KU36's over the R1R's though, less complex block pattern, so they are not going to squirm as much or get lipped as quick either.

R1R's look more like an aggressive road tyre that can be tracked compared the to KU36 that is marketed as a track tyre that can be roaded.

Just depends on the depth of your pockets and how dedicated you want the rubber to be.

Oh, all of these will be more than suitable for hillclimbs as well, some hot brakes and a good burnout will get heat into the tyres pretty quick, The R888's should come on in about a lap of eastern creek, the other 2 about a lap and a half.

nah, not for the ftrs. Theyre going on a set of 18s, mainly for track days. So the most aggressive i can get for the best value price. Have seen the ku36s for a resonable price, and i think brett was running the federal rsrs. How did you find the nittos ?

The Nitto Invo's good alrounder leaning heavily to performance, but as a dedicated track tyre, nah, there is much better to be had.

What size in 18? 245 40 18?
