What size wheel would you guys recommend to use for racing?
Not dragging, or short distance racing, but more like long distance racing Is 19 inch fine?

What? Endurance racing??? Are you going to be using your AU? 17's with a good set of Semi-Slicks will more than do the job.

19's are not needed. A decent suspension setup and 17's will more than cope. V8SC Run 17" wheels.

17's will be what you want as they are used on saloon cars, like the 1 in this link.

What sort of racing are you planning on doing ?
The link above to the saloon car is actually my car for sale. Saloon cars do not use standard road rims. We have a deal with CSA and they manufacture rims to take higher load ratings specifically for our cars. The AU/VT cars run 17"x8" and the older EA/VN cars run 16" rims. Hope this helps. |

17" with 235's will do the job. anything bigger will just be a waste of money with no benifit.
