what power have u got out of your n/a six....
getting my car dyno tuned today..... what power should i expect 140 ish???

Id say 120 to 125

id be expecting more than that with cam, exhaust and a J3 chip through a manual..
a stock 5spd EL will pull 100-110rwkw lol

My EF, (with and ED xr6 motor) with pacie comps, hi flow all that jazz, manual pulled 128 on an extremly low reading dyno. IE there was a guy there that pulled 20-25 rwkw less than usual.
So expect anything around the 130 mark if alls healthy.

didnt happen on wednesday, he stuffed a sensor on the dyno as to wait to get a new one so hopefully get done next week.....

i got 133.4 kwat the wheels yesterday thats after he tuned the chip this happened at boydys..... post up the sheet later gotta go to work lol

Sounds like you need a vernier gear to dial the cam properly

You should go for a bigger cam mate
 Your EF is a manual, and you a have a J3 which can be tuned, so id go for a wade 1673 (which is more off a midrange-top end cam) and get a vernier fitted with it so it can be dialed in like ebxr82nv has suggested. With a good tune it should be making the 140 mark then |

yeah well i kinda dont wanna spend any more money on it, since i getting a xr6 for cheap in march i got plans for that one......
how much is vernier gear and how hard to install.

Sorry for digging this up. Clampy, do you recommend this mob for tuning a J3? Has he done many E series Fords before that you know of? Looking for some options nearby should I stuff my tune on my V8.
