Running rich wont cause you to get pwnd by a stocker.

Some XGs (s2 XR6 yeh?) came out with the BBM manifold.

nah its not the XR ute its just the EF type ute with the ED motor in it without the BBM setup. so i dont know whats going on with my XR6 then and my car hasn't got extractors yet either but that shouldnt matter anyway.

Driver maybe? no offense
Has the ute got extractors, or was that just a random comment?
You were using the gearbox right not just leaving it in drive?

but don't forget the xr has 345lsd standard, the best a stock xg may have is 3.27, at a stretch it could have 345 If it's been optioned etc. but it doesn't sound like it and even then it'd just be a match.

Not really, if you can find a factory XG with BBM - hang onto it.

Whislt we are on the subject, the standard XH has an EF motor, but with the log manifold, as the redline is increased to 5500rpm over a XG (EBII) But they always quoted the same power output - 148kw, reckon theres alot of politics over stated figures.

No xg xr6 came with a BBM, mine is a 95 and has a log.

the bbm does not help the top end in most cases you will lose top end but you will gain a lot down low.
