you guys think 1500$ will get me a nice MIG?

Mate of mine thinks he may be able to get a good deal on a UNI-MIG 240.

Any suggestions?

yeah 1500 will get you a beauty. My brother bought a BOC 190C for under 1500 and that is a damned good welder.

EBXR8380 ever thought about doing up a jig for mass production of single turbo setup for the windsor??[/quote]

Hmm yes but I'm bussy and not sure it there would be interest?? I mean parting with $$$ Atlot of deamers out there!!! Besides with V8's the clearance is that tight they almost need to be custom fit...
I have roller block and heads too..Just need dummy accessaries for clearance engine wise...

How do you like the UNI-MIG? It's one of the best value ones around but some people have told me there not that reliable? I know everything has its problems but he says the digi displays have faults, and in general UNI-MIG stuff aint that great, he said WIA and BOC are the most reliable, they are also the most expensive! Any suggestions?
