Don't you worry. He can afford it. I've seen some shots of his motor and it looks impressive so far.

A polite pm or email is all that would of been needed for him to get some answers from Sinan aswell.
Insted of him telling him to get off the forum and stop "tooting his horn"

I would suspect, given the weight of the car the power and shaft speed, It would be around a 3.5inch chromo job and would have a steel slip yoke and a steel flange yoke.

It's not hard to get a shaft though. you just walk into any Hardy Spicer and tell them the weight, the power and shaft speed and they'll make you shaft.

Thats all we did with our 3700lb, 1000hp, 150mph XD and we never had an issue with the shaft.
We supplied the Strange C4 slip yoke and they sorted the rest.

judging by the short first gear, I say it's a C4

3500lb pound car and 150 mph Engine dyno would show between 900 and 1000hp.

isnt c-series boxe gears similar to a btr minus overdrive??
im getting a c10 installed atm and 3rd/last gear is 1:1 so i cant see first being very short unless he has high diff gears but at a trap speed of 150mph thats not possible.
on the other hand, hiboost has hinted its not a th400

Thanks Xcabbi, you are welcolm to post those photos I emailed you and I am happy to answer any questions (I am overseas ATM and dont have any photos with me). Sorry I dont have much time to have a thread and maintain it.

I do all my own fabrication work and am only interested in purposeful mods so their is no bling in any of the work I do.

Thanks,
I think Phil Purser in Perth should be able to do a good Chrome Moly shaft, nevertheless it is still good to know the specs of what the sub 10 sec guys are running due to the critical speed safety issues of a single piece shaft

Basic tail-shaft design parameters are not exactly what maddog, myself and the few other normal people left among you would consider as being trade secrets specifically designated for pm only. Had maddog asked for port profiles, intercooler core tube, plenum and cam specs then that is what I would consider crossing the line and I would not have backed him up.

For f**k sakes guys it a bit of tube with some flanges ad uni's on the ends, absolutely nothing to it. Any half decent trans or diff shop would be able to give some advice, but is it the right advice for the application? You'd think the guy with the car running the numbers would be able to point you in the right direction. Obviousy not these days.

And the really funny thing is, it took tickford_6 to point him in the right direction, a man who hasn't even seen the car in the flesh but was able to use his intuition and give some decent advice. From what I've seen you are well worth your $150/hr asking price. Well done.

If Sinan is so forthcoming with specs via pm, then why can't even two mexicans agree on a common gearbox that he uses? Do his pm's lack as much substance as his public posts and he simply says that its a Rajab box? Or have you guys not even bothered to ask him such a simple question via pm?
Do Allan and Billy specify Rajab Oil, Rajab air in his Rajab tires or even Rajab wiper washer fluid? Don't forget the Rajab fluffy dice.
Did grandma Rajab sew him a Rajab nighty so he can sleep better at night?

Or does he simply know f**k all about the inner workings about what was built for him and just hands over the cheque book at Allans request? Or are they doing it mates rates on the condition he does not tell a single sole about the inner workings of what's inside that shell? I'm taking a 50/50 each way bet here.

If this is how the turbo brigade are all like then f**k it, the blue bottle brigade are much more friendlier (probably cause they have a few puffs of the bottle before a meet  ). Well in the gong at least. They even step in to help out the new comers and get them up an running. Their motto is that your fiercest rival is your best mate. None of this one word one dimensional answers and cry to mummy when they feel insulted.

Sorry don’t mean to be rude but why am I going under my car to get measurements an stuff for?

Like I said to maddog, go to a driveshaft guy an tell him what you want an he will build you one. Its not that hard…that’s after his done some background checks on that shop..

Ask a few members that know me an the dramas that ive had with auto shops to performance work shops where all they did was fk me over an around with. Which in the end didn’t get me much but for the money I was spending with them it could have been much more better… thats why i went my own way in building up my car with a very BIG help from Alan @ Rajab racing.

Xcabbi, I know everything that went into my car, engine from pistons the nuts an bolts that was used..i just don’t wish to share info that ive spent time, money, research, sweat an blood on.

tickford_6, my mph/times are not the best for a reasons i have mentioned before. also the weight is over 3500lbs.
