Whats the difference between a supercharger and a turbocharger?
Both compress the air going into an engine. Superchargers use a belt to drive the compressor, turbo's uses wasted exhaust energy to drive the compressor.

Great work mate. Only improvement I can see is "How does boost work with LPG / dual fuel?" This is one area where I haven't been able to get any sort of definitive answer from any of the suppliers I've been speaking to. Given the money the gummint is now generously handing out, I bet it's a question that'll be asked a lot over the next couple of years.

Insurance is not an issue with CGU and JustCarInsurance, they will insure without an engineers cert, yet to clarify, but i am assured this is the case :)

Hope this clarifies any questions some users might have, be warned, confirm these details with your insurance company, i am going through an insurance broker as i know they will look after me :)
Matt

Edit: Overruling all there "yes we will cover a supercharger", if the car is not roadworthy, hence requiring an engineers certificate, insurance companies will not pay out :S
bummer

Shannons will insure my car third party for $400 odd, EL turbo, manifold, intercooler.
$750ish for agreed value of $6k.

Without an engineers cert, as long as the mod isnt the cause of the accident :)
"We are not out to get you" he said :)

I looked and saw no Raptor links but that would be because we inhabit the subforum area

I will take any questions also and we will have released out EB - EL V8 kit in around a week from now which will be for a fair and reasonable price.
