Au4.0 is 150 psi to low for cylinder compression ?? I'm going to be running 9psi into a au motor in the future and need to find out what is good compression
Any ideas would be great |

I read on another Fordmods thread that the readings should be 180-200psi (non VCT). How many kms has your engine done, and is that the worst reading of all of them? I had about 170psi readings on stock E-Series engines.

yes, 170-190psi is where ive seen a few au engines, but 150 psi is still ok, actually it will cope slightly better with boost at 150psi..

The motor I have now is a au 4.0 ,xr6 ef head it has 150 psi in the cylinders but has a lot of blow by running9 psi
