Basically as the subject says? And if not what's the best way to boost ecu?

you need to change the map sensor as it doesnt read boost and the ecu will need a chip/flash tune for a turbo/boosted application, i think it sees 2 psi and hits the fuel cut?

Yeah you can use an XR6 Turbo map, but you need to visit a tuner and get yourself an SCT flash box or similar. A tuner that knows how to tune with it will be nessasary, if your in NSW, go to Crescent Motorsport, they are leading the way currently with this stuff

you can use a ba xr6 turbo map sensor, not sure if wires need to be swapped though..
you will still need a custom dyno tune, better injectors and fuel pump, otherwise the engine will blow up...lol |

in an eb or ed you can fit it to an ed using the ed dizzy, ed intake manifold or you can also run it off a el ecu using a j3 chip for tuning as mentioned above..

Brooksyman wrote: What kinda tuning? And who by? dyno tuning, you need a custom tune to make sure the air fuel ratio is safe and timing is removed under boost, otherwise leaning out and pinging under boost will destro the engine quick smart.. you can try crescent motor sport in liverpool or auto tech in granville, both do alot of perfomance work on fords and both do dyno tuning |
