I wouldn't call 23 old! Your 17 aren't you?How long do you think you'll live? Instead of being an absolute knob and putting other peoples families at risk, how bout take it to a race track with a car club??? At least then if you have a crash there's the proper equipment to reduce the chance of you dying.

I work out at the ford proving grounds and know what it's like going 275kms and I can tell you that if you had anything jump out in front of you or something in the engine let go you be in a heap of deep s**t!

I hope he does it already, with 300RWKW it'll happen easily enough.

Glad I'm in Canberra.

um excuse me, i am 17, im a really safe driver, i dont go weaving lanes, i never speed i have never gone over the 110 speed limit, and have never done a burn out. i dont have a done up car with head work, cam, extractors air induction or lsd, its got the ford headers a 2.5 exhaust and stock everything apart from xr springs and rims. and will never be seeing myself doing over the speed limit unless im on a track. also im an apprentice plumber so i will need my license for work, a guy at work just lost his and now is stuck. So dont call me a hoon as i am far from one. i think you shouldnt judge me on the fact i said that comment, he said his done 260, he knows its a fast speed and u will die if u hit something at the speed. i highly doubt he needs other members saying your an idiot for doing that rah rah rah there is just no need for it. it was a private road so no one else bar himself was in danger, it was his choice to do that.

that is all.

Don't know about you but where about's in Australia besides the Ford speed bowl is there a PRIVATE ROAD long enough for you to get up to that sort of speed with 300rwkW and a minimum GVM of 1.8 tonnes? That speed probably can't be reached on any track in the country in the given vehicle. V8 supercabs can pull those speeds but they are 500kgs lighter. I'm over the whole private road thing. Do you have to emphasise that fact every time you break a road rule and want to brag?

Lil_lincoln- A good race track day with a club has medical staff, kitty litter, barriers and no innocent people.
I want to know where this private road is!! Sounds pretty long- Like an air strip maybe?? Who ever the owner is, they mus of paid a fair bit to get a strip that long and get it asphalted. Have a think about it. Why stick up for people putting their lives and others at risk.

I'm 30, so bear with me while I try type with my parkinsons. You're 17yo. You would be on your red P plates. If you're doing 110 you're speeding brother. And at 260k's you'll die if a gust of wind hits the car and you over compensate. We're not old and picking on you people. We've got to this age through being able to dodge younger more inexperienced drivers. By the time my son gets his P plates at this rate he will be driving a chassis on a posty bike with rubber bumper moulds around it. Just because a few idiots wanted to win themselves a Darwin Award. Trust me youngin. When you hit our age you'll be shaking your head too.
