Hello,
I have just fitted a turbo 6 from an FG into my N/A BA ute. I have used a BA ECU and engine wiring loom and 99% of plugs etc have been the same or I have just swapped bits from the old BA motor. The one issue I have been facing is that on a BA the throttle bodie has two plugs with total of 6 wires and the FG bodie has one plug with 6 wires total. I had been told that you can use an FG throttle bodie plug and splice into the ba loom which is what I have done but the only way I can get the engine to start now is if I have the throttle bodie wiring disconnected, I must of stuffed some wires up because when I have the plug connected it runs super rich and floods the engine plus throws a TPS fault code. I am wondering if anyone has done this conversion and if so how did you overcome the wiring problem? Pleasee hellpp |
