Hi guys,
Im posting on behalf of a friend , as hes not really up to speed on the internet thing. He has a Xr6 turbo engine from a BA xr6 T ute installed in a BA wagon. The car makes 342rwkw. Apparently its running the wagon ECU, as they could not get the original XR6 T ecu to work with the wagon BCM. The dyno guy believes with a tune the car should make 400rwkw, as it was leaning out. My question is : Is it possible to get the original Xr6 T ecu calibrated to communicate with the wagons BCM so everything works? I believe the ute would have been remapped , as it had a big custom plenum and other mods etc. Thanks for any info you can provide |

You should be able to use the Wagon ECU with no issues. Just needs to be flash tuned for the turbo.
What tuning gear is the Tuner using on the wagon? |

Basically he just wants the XR6 Turbo ECU configured to work with the wagons BCM. Do you know anyone It could be posted too for the reflash?

Can only suggest if its leaning you may either need to alter the fuel map on ECU, or check your duty cycle of injectors.
Re using the wagon ecu on xr6t is anything extra needed besides flashing ecu for a suitable tune? Looking at this in earnest for my BA wag now, have read confilicting info between nothing extra needed, to need a 2Bar MAP sensor, to need some alternate means of boost control??? |

Using a decent scanner you should be able to install the XR6T ecu into the wagon with no dramas, as long as the trans is the same from both cars. ie both the XR6T and wag are auto
