LOL! Yes i would be better off using the standard air box, but if you decide to run a dose pipe, your doing it for the sound not for performance..
But then in saying that I haven't noticed any performance losses, just a gain in induction noise and "sic C***'nes"

you will notice the loss down low before spooling up, it will take a lil longer to spool thats what i noticed when i just opened my air box.. try it and im sure you will notice it take it for a rap with the stock air box and then put you pod back on.

Yeah rip the BOV off and you'll get it alot louder ;)
If dose f**k compressors, then people with BOVs that have stiff springs would be f**k them as well, cause as you've seen, lowish boost it will still reverse flow through the compressor.

It's always amuses me that when a discussion about dose comes up, the people that are most negative about it are always from NSW or QLD.
Whats with that??

running without a BOV can't be to bad, because VLT's had no BOV from the factory and NIZPRO don't fit them to there upgarde kits, if you want one fitted you have to ask them to do it as they see no point in having one...
