i have a mate with a stock XR6T BA 51,000km AUTO and from day one it has had a miss. i just found out and he says it is between gear changes, dosnt matter how u drive it thrash it or p***y it. its now outa warranty and hes not overly concerned. but i thought i would run it by u all. any thoughts

Maybe change a set of plugs and leads?

they got coil on plug so no leads as such schnoods, new plugs might help

Mine did this under heavy load (wot 4000+rpm in second gear onwards) and replacing the plugs cured my problem. Not that uncommon for coil packs to die either, maybe get Ford to do a diagnostic on it.
