Sounds like a powerdyne kit?? It will have EVERYTHING you need (apart from a few special tools you may need).

Transmission will take a low boost setup fine.

Why be like everyone else?? There's no fun in it. You see an XR6t round every corner these days, would more impressive and kinda cool to hear a supercharger wistle coming from an XT instead...

Unfortunately the Powerdynes are silent, if you want the whistle you need a Vortech :D But as 4.9 EF Futura said the CAPA kits come with everythign needed and if you have soem basic mechanical skills it is a fairly straight forward install. And yes the transmission should be fine with the extra power, just make sure you have a decent cooler and keep it seviced.

If the trans dies get one from an XR6-Turbo, they are designed for the higher torque.

They don't come with exhaust but the power figures they quote are based on stock engines with exhaust/extractors. Everything else is in the kit including a tuning device. They use to supply pre-programed chips but I think they use the SCT/CAPA edit for the BA's which are preprogramed for the blower kit, but you will have to check with them.

All included in CAPA kits with exception of exhaust.

If it's auto, aren't they standard across whole range? i.e. XT auto is identical to XR6T auto? I didn't think they did any model to model strengthening of trans...?

Yes I believe so, the standard auto is good for around 250-300rwkw with a decent cooler installed.

Pffffft, tell that to my powerdyne. I started the car expecting silence and you can bloody hear the thing quite loudly. It's not audible when driving but when idling it's very noticeable.
