This could go in any forum but here's ok i guess.
I have had my supercharger for years and lately it had developed a squeal in cool and/or damp weather. Not bad just annoying.
I sprayed a little silicon in the area and all was well again.
Actually i sprayed a jet in the wrong direction as i'm old and can't see without me specs, and a wee bit of the overspray stopped the squeal.

i used to get a slight squeel when cold when i had the supercharger, i thought it was an alignment issue but i could not find anything out of align..
so i tried the old school dry soap on the grooved side of the belt while the engine was running and believe it or not it stoped the sqeel for 6 months at a time, usually untill i degreased the engine or drove alot in the rain...
