Hi guys I was getting a dyno on the weekend and came back a little disappointed...
I asked the guys there was there anything I could do to make more power without cracking the motor open. He said why not turbo it??? So... I guess I'm gonna turbo my Clevo! hehe So am I on the right path... t03/t04 hybrid turbo(which is internally gated), gas research throttle body, custom pipework, 3" exhaust... Any ideas and/or inpute will be welcomed with open arms! lol |

How big is the turbo??

I only decided to do this on sat night lol. I have already bought the gas research TB so far. I'm open to all suggestions but having said that I'm not breaking records either. Just 5-7psi is spot on for me as it's my work truck hehe.
Does .86 AR mean anything? It's double dutch to me lol |

These are the specs... 600 hp rating Turbo housing: .86 A/R Compressor housing: .70 A/R Flange: T25/T28 Cooling: Water and Oil That's all I know. What ya think?? |

The Gt4088 is the best option for std 351 ...
You need big enough turbine to flow the exhaust ... The plain shaft is budget, works well on 351's..

Yeah for a 351 gt3076 would be too small, im not sure on turbine housings for a 351 but for my stock 93 h.o runs better with the .70 (T4 bum split entry).

Hi EFFalcon, Size of GRA carbs are determined by their metering rod and venturi sizes... Mine came with a lot of stuff to make it work from anything like a 202 Holden 6 to a 440 Chrysler big block. My tuner guy never mentioned twin converters so I guess I'm sticking with the single one. Gas lines are std. Cheers, Craig. |

a single converter will only see ~180-200kw at the rears.
B2 Converters are cheap.. go twins for insurance.
