So, it turns out it's not the belt slipping or anything causing the squeel. It's the lower feeder pulley. The bearing must be shot or something. If I spray WD40 on it while runnign the noise stops for a few seconds.

I just checked the receipt, and it's just over 12 months old now, so I'm guessing no warranty. It's only done 75km's though - piss poor!

Got the idler pulleys sorted.
There's a new squeel when I turn the car on, but goes away quickly, so I'll leave it for now.

I saw 6 psi today - but it was just before redline, so not really were I drive the car. If CAPA are open on Monday I'll call them to get a 9psi pulley sent out ASAP!

I'd avoid buying pulleys from CAPA, unless you like paying ridiculous amounts.
I just got a 2.95 8-rib off summit for $70US.
I think CAPA are after 180 for the same pulley.

Will it matter that it's a 6 rib belt but?

Think Summit have 6-rib pulleys as well, straight from Vortech. The powerdynes take the same pulleys AFAIK.
What diameter is your current one?

the number of ribs the pulley has should make a diffrence so long as their's no boss to the pulley.

Twr7cx you work at repco yeah? if so get a hold of a gates "idler pulley" catalog and have a look you might be able to get ahold of a pulley the right od and amout of ribs that suit your app that also suits a diffrent car maker.
