you could say so, but i think a 2.5" mandral would be ok on 9psi. would probably start being about as small as youd like but i think itd be ok.

2.5" should flow enough for just under 200rwkw.
You might pick up a few more going to a 3", but the extractors are still only going to have a 2.5" outlet. I'd spend money on tuning before I spent it on the exhaust.

i hope to be getting 220rwkw and using the dual 2.5s.. .which are probably too big for my application, try to go lower if ya can.

s**t, i just changed my exhaust to the dual pipes out of the cats, to a single muffler and two little dumps coming out at the diff.
Waay too loud, only a temporary thing, it flows a lot better. Still seems to have some backpressure, but still too big for around the 200rwkw mark. |
