i used a 3 1/2" METAL CAT, it has a 4" stainless core with reducers to 3 1/2" each end, i've had it glowing red hot and not a problem.

im using a 3.5" xforce cat.
alot of ba xr6t guys are using 5" cat

yeh, i run a 4" dump, then 4" cat into a full 3 1/2" system, with 1 Hooker muffler. it has an awsome whistle!

The turbine is your muffler... You only need straight through with plenty of glass fibre inside for sound deadening... Baffled mufflers restrict power etc big time on turbo motors....

it not really that loud ay, i guess around 95db maybe. wen i get it engeneered they will test it. it seems to be quiter under boost than free reving but.
