Hey Troy,

I got a 3" Ballistic with the 5" body. Going good i reckon. As you know we have the same tuner, so i would expect the quality of the cat to be the issue more so, than a couple of points in the AFR's......

My old magnaflow cat died pretty quickly, but i dont think it was the real deal, even if the box said so............

Cheers

Daz

hey daz
yea my old cat was a magnaflow aswell..
i was thinking it may have been the tune done by the original tuner that might have contributed to the cat failure?? (not the tuner we use now)or it might just be magnaflow cats are crapp??
even after the last tune where 4 deg of timing was removed to stop the pinging, after a few weeks it was pinging again on 98 premium..
but since i replaced the cat i can now run it on std unleaded without any pinging, so i might be able to put some of that timing back in???
:D

Go w2a Troy! You'll piece it together easily and cheaply with your skills. I've just had mine set up, and its transformed how my car drives.
