Its been around for a while now and they already have full kits for the holden ecotect V6.

I'll go for the C38 Range blower. all you need is the head unit and the oil cooler kit. the rest you can build your self or get a metal fabricator to design a bracket for it. :P

Only the small one (suited for engines up to 2L) can spin to 200,000rpm. The medium max rpm is 120,000rpm and the large 90,000rpm.

still i wonder how much they go for?

the novice (<--- points at self) would assume you could almost adapt an existing CF SC bracket for them.

what sort of torque are you getting at the wheels???

I'm toying with the thought of a 75mm Throtttle Body for more snap at partial throttle.
I can't complain about my vehicles torque curve but i'm thinkin a 75mm TB could make it better at partial throttle.

The bigger C38 range goes for $3190 or you could contact these guys below and get an up dated price.
the unit consist of drive pulley, oiling kit (oil reseviour, oil filter, oil lines, 1 litre special traction oil)
optional extra if you wish- genuine Rotrex oil cooler for $249

Does anyone know anything about this product - http://badboysproducts.web.aplus.net/ ?

They're an aus centri manufacturer. Chargers and brackets are made from poly. They promote product as high strength, low weight, low cost, low air temps and ability to run up to 26 psi boost?! They run a 4inch inlet which is big.

Cons from what I can see are very basic impeller with straight veins (I'm wondering where boost comes in), 2.5 inch outlet (most have 3 inch), and tacky colour ideas!

They list raptor as one of their associates....what can you tell us Tim?

The website looks quite dodgy, but the product seems like it might work ok. A lot of their stats and 'testimonials' are a bit vague though. Does anyone know more about these?

Well, we are their supplier of ceramic bearings, I really don't know if anything is still going ahead for them, they did have a long way to go in terms of product quality etc as of 4 or so months ago.

They planned to have a Wynjammer style setup http://www.wynjammer.com/ALM1115/GM_4_8 ... __Kit.html where the high speed belt is fully exposed. I know they are having extreme difficulty in sourcing the belts they needed, some things are hard to do in this country.

For now just watch the action, will be a good while yet before you see anything you would bolt onto your ride, also having an exposed ultra high speed drive has some big issues facing it.

For now the Raptor Centrifugal charger will remain Australia's must successful Australian made product so far as centrifugal chargers go.

We will leave poly for the parrots :D

The water cooled alloy housing is state of the art for centrifugal superchargers at the moment, there is not one supercharger in the world that comes within a bulls roar of the VLC for low operating temps.

We have a pressure air feed of cool air into the transmission of the Raptor V and VLC, gets that essential cooling directed right into the belt drive.

Yep Raptor has covered all the bases :D

And what sort of outputs would you expect to be seeing for these kits?

Specifically I am interested in what you would expect out of a manual ED Sprint with the Explorer and Gt40's etc..... I am eyeing off a nice low k sprint at the moment and if I get her will be looking to throw some boost on it. No other mods (apart from a tune obviously), so as to keep her basically original.

Also, can someone spell out the legalities in Qld for this sort of thing? I'm new-ish to the state and work off shore so gathering this sort of information is not so easy :( .

Anyway, a touch off topic with my ramblings I guess, but a guesstimate would be great!

You are in the best state in AU so far as getting that ride plated up and going.

I can't give you an estimate, but I can supply a 9psi kit to you and if you are in Brisbane you can take it to Chiptorque once installed for a tune to bring it all together. If it were a 304ci GM engine I would say 240rwkw, but for the Windsor I am not sure. Maybe others here know what it might yield

The car I am considering is up your way anwyay (I haven't seen it as yet, but the photo's look ok) so it would be a snatch to organise if I did go ahead.......
