With 220rwkw, it might juuust go high 13s.
Being 4speed auto. Comparing to BA Turbos, which are always gonna be quicker for the same peak power, stock 4 Speed XR6Ts are generally doing low 14s, high 13s if they are fit. Generally stock 4speeds pull between 180-220rwkw. Add a tenth or two for extra weight on the ute. All theory though, only one way to find out.

No comments here on badcooky's power or quarter estimates...only that a stopwatch is a legitimate performance testing tool.
Obviously 400m is the best, but a stopwatch will give a very close estimate of performance times. I've run repeated tests with a stopwatch vs. a G-tech, and they're within 0.2/sec of eachother. Will be good to see what the car runs though!

With a small stall and diff gears a 12 is within reach of a very talented driver.
As is, I'd guess a 13.8, quicker if its a cold night and the track is in great nick and traction isnt an issue. Will be good though, especially lining up a few gen3's and having a few more victims under the belt.

I love it how everyone is so "quarter-centric". Theres a lot of US cars from the 50's to today that are fast down the quarter. Pity they cant turn a corner.
even hand timed getting to 170 in that timeframe is aplaudable. why so many negative nellies? Is it the hate of a centri? or is it just a hard to crack elusive club?

Not against the centri at all, I own one and I'm happy with it. Even so, the hand timed 0-170 is applaudable too, not being negative at all either. Alot of people just use the track as a proving ground, I know Dynos are a great tuning tool but alot of people are skeptical about their legitamacy, same with stop watches and even the quarter to a degree. Alot of figures can be manipulated too with the dyno, a delayed (or overly anticipated )response can be a few 10ths out with the stop watch (even speedo's can be out) but the strip is accurate. But what the strip doesnt take into account is gearing or weight. Nothing to prove as it is a impressive package but a time to a power figure generally gives a sense of completion IMO. Im still looking for a better time in my rig to justify it and finally sleep easy.

When i can i will,i think everyone but me gives a damn.
If i go under 14 i will be happy. If i get to a strip this winter I'll be happy. If i get it tuned this winter i'll be happy.. Just done a trip and went 22.5 litres for 241 klm so not quite as good. But still great. Yeah a stopwatch is goofy but closer than counting 1 Mississipi 2......

Isn't that a silly statement, i mean i never put my blower on the car to make it handle better... maybe others do??? I don't think people are being negative, just more realistic or the times that were posted for the speed he was going. People don't hate the centri, most of the guys who have commected have one!!! and know what they do and don't do, and exactly how they drive. Plus we know that you need a certain amount of power with certain setups to get the quarter mile results. |

Schnoods i've been up the strip years ago,it's a buzz.
This internet thing has made everyone an expert, instantly now if not sooner. And negative. Now back to the blower, people say these Centrifugal blowers have zip off the bottom well that's a load of cods. As i have 144rwhp at 2000 revs. And using the old formula(remember i'm old) of FWKW=RWHP a stock BA at peak has what i have at 2650rpm being 182 rwhp. This is on the old 210RWKW graph. There's more now. Still haven't tuned it yet. So they must have a bit from the bottom. I'm not saying it's a rocket i just like it. For the outlay and time i have spent it's grouse.
