im just starting (slowly) on a turbo build on the el xr6,gonna re build an engine and all that stuff,my question is...
some of you guys say you can use a chiptorque or similar chip effectively with a low boost turbo application.
as i already have a chiptorque chip im wondering how effective it is,like whats low boost??i think i wanna run about 8-9psi would that work with the chip and rising rate reg and bigger injectors??also what size injectors would i need for 9psi of boost?

cheers guys

A few blokes are using the capa switch eliminator chip which works ok.

For 9 psi minimum would be 24lbs, but 30 or even better 36 should see it thru.

From what I heard and read Chiptorque handles around 5 to 6psi, thats all, Eliminator switch or the Sniper might be the way to go, if finances allow, then you have better ones available..

Doesnt detonate now.

Not ideal as not boost referenced.
