The E.B GLI's had 8.8 compression...They run good with that...I guess latter models had better combustion chambers???? Latter models had detonation sensers..You realy need stand alone ecu where fuel maps can be custom tuned to compression injectors etc and have boost reference...The std map can't handle boost over 8Lb and the std injectors are NOT big enough..You need atleast 30Lb injectors...Yes the GT30/40 will work easy...
The std eec can't handle bigger injectors..

Apperently the injectors from a xr6t or xr6 wont work in the older model falcons, something to do with how the squirt the fuel. There used to be a thread on it but i can't remember if that was before the loos of the old forums.

I bought a Walbro 255l/hr in tank fuel pump off ebay for $160. There are some good bargains on Ford motorsport 42lb injectors on ebay also. At the moment Im running just the pump and a 12:1 rising rate reg and getting 11 psi before lean out, however this combo sucks the juice as its always in the rich, but its only temporary until I get the EMS installed.

12:1 is what I was told it was. Dont care what it is, it works.

Na mate I'm not being smart a**...I think you can change it down to lesser rising rate??? Using the same reg...It may lean it out alittle???
