I'm thinking of putting a turbo on my XR6 which currently has a LPG mixer setup
I have thought of going to an injected system come October.

What problems did you have with gas injection? I thought it was meant to be streets ahead of the current stench/low power/back fires I have with the mixer setup ?

The power level's supported by some gas injection systems may cause issues, along with if they can correctly operate under boost or not. There are kits around that can work with turbo setups. Finding enough info to work out what a kit can & can't do is a minefield.

Cheers

Cliff Doherty Automotive in Bendigo has an employee Braiden, comes very highly recommended from alot of people i know and have met.

I've a parnell mixer setup on my 6cyl el, fitting a b2 converter, impco 425 mixer, boost line then its done although then i will need to slowly sort out the petrol side of things, flat spots on petrol atm, damn! lol

Ok a bit down the track from the original posting, I am doing a rebuild of a AU 6x2 wheel 2 tonne ute, going with BF front, have a AU & BA dedicated gas motor siting in garage along side a BA petrol motor. So have options. What i would like to do is Turbo the BA dedicated gas engine. Can this be done? Reading earlier replies, if I was to take this to a shop like SNORT what sort money would I be looking at?

Thanks :)

Please do not make the mistake of going to snort! Geoff is a complete piece of s**t and will steal your money and give you nothing! He owes me thousands and is no where to be found! Dont waste your time with him!

Yeah trust me I learnt the hard way! Lost over $15k with nothing to show for! Dont deal with snort or any of his affliates they are just as bad! I am going through tunnel vision now! Jason is a top notch bloke who backs his 1000% and delivers above expectations. My 1000hp is already built and ready to go. Just saving for my driveline now

I'm looking at putting a turbo on my au dedicated gas ute..
I'm told an imp o 425 mixer and e series converter are needed. And balance pipe?
Is that all the parts other than hoses etc?

Can anyone put pics up of their dedicated gas turbo setup..
