Ive been bored and am soon going to start to build a custom big mouth induction for my BA XR6 made out of alluminium. Just wondering if anyone has ideas to make it better, or tips anything like that.

Make the opening of it big like the vs commodore ones lol, they go the whole length of the bonnet almost

Cut a big hole in the bottom of the box, and the inner guard, and run a big flex hose into it from behind the front bumper, a lot less work, and just as much benefit. Have a look on autospeed for the diy cold air intakes, a lot of good info there.

That's the go. The XR8's and FPV's run something similar to that. As an added bonus, you could choose to put the snorkle down directly into the air flow. But be careful, this may cause your filter to bolck quicker and may (not will, MAY) duct water into the inlet tract should you leave it open in wet conditions. |

i actually have a growler intake now but when i put that in you can still have the small snorkle so i thought y not make a bigger one of them for more air.
